Ghanaian singer Mellissa has released the official music movie for her Stonebwoy-assisted single, “Show Me,” bringing one of the standout tracks from her debut EP Diamond Baby to life with a cinematic visual.
The singer, who refers to the visual as a “music movie,” unveiled the project this week, giving fans a more intimate and story-driven take on the romantic record.
“Show Me” sees Mellissa team up with Ghanaian dancehall star Stonebwoy, with the two artists blending their distinct styles on a sultry, Afrobeats-leaning track centered around attraction, chemistry and the desire for a deeper connection. The song is the third track on Diamond Baby, which was released on May 1, 2026.
The newly released music movie takes the song’s themes of romance and intimacy and translates them into a cinematic setting. The story-line unfolds inside a nightclub, where Stonebwoy eventually shuts down the venue, leaving him and Mellissa to enjoy a more private moment together away from the crowd.
The visual was directed by Princess Adjua, with Jeremy Joseph serving as director of photography and editor. The cast also includes Legasie, Tsemi and Priscilla Amos.
For Mellissa, “Show Me” represents another important chapter in the rollout of Diamond Baby, her seven-track debut project. The EP features collaborations with artists including Stonebwoy, Blaqbonez, Amaeya, MOLIY and Joey B, while showcasing Mellissa’s blend of R&B, Afropop, soul and West African influences.
Speaking about working with Stonebwoy on the song, Mellissa previously described the experience as particularly memorable, praising the veteran artist’s creative process and saying the collaboration felt like the song was “meant to be exactly like this.”
With its cinematic storytelling, romantic storyline and chemistry between Mellissa and Stonebwoy, the “Show Me” music movie gives the fan-favourite track a fresh visual identity while further introducing audiences to Mellissa’s world as she continues to establish herself as one of Ghana’s emerging voices.
