Jhené Aiko Taps Kendrick Lamar for New Song ‘So Good’ From Her Album “Westside Whimsy”

Kendrick Lamar reunites with Jhené Aiko for “So Good,” featured on her new album Westside Whimsy.

Kendrick Lamar and Jhené Aiko are back in their musical bag, reconnecting for a brand-new collaboration titled “So Good.”

Jhené Aiko has officially released her highly anticipated new album Westside Whimsy—her first full-length project in six years—and she has delivered a major surprise for fans with a fresh Kendrick Lamar verse.

The two stars team up on “So Good,” adding another chapter to a musical relationship that stretches back more than a decade.

Long before they became global superstars, Aiko and Kendrick first crossed paths on Lamar’s 2010 mixtape Overly Dedicated. Their chemistry resurfaced in 2013 when Kendrick jumped on Aiko’s “Stay Ready (What a Life)” from her acclaimed debut EP Sail Out.

Now, years later, the pair have reunited once again, with Kendrick bringing his signature lyrical touch to “So Good.” Westside Whimsy arrives with plenty of star power beyond Kendrick, with appearances from Larry June, Ab-Soul and Tyga.

But make no mistake—Kendrick Lamar’s surprise appearance on “So Good” is already turning heads and giving fans plenty to talk about.

After years of musical history, Jhené Aiko and Kendrick Lamar have once again found their way onto the same track—and this reunion is sounding so good.
