AZ Chike and Tyler, The Creator are taking fans on a cinematic ride with their new collaboration, “Look Like My Mama.”
The two rappers recently teamed up for the track, which arrives with a movie-inspired music video directed by Stacking Memories. Released on August 28, the visual opens at the fictional NRFTW High School before taking viewers through a series of recreated scenes inspired by some iconic films.
Among the movies referenced throughout the video are Napoleon Dynamite, Sinners, Men in Black, Paid in Full and Dead Presidents. AZ Chike and Tyler step into different characters and settings, fully committing to the concept rather than simply dropping quick visual references.
The video eventually reveals that the cinematic chaos has been playing out on a television screen in a young boy’s bedroom, adding another layer to the nostalgic concept.
“Look Like My Mama” also marks a notable collaboration between the two Los Angeles artists, with Tyler handling production on the track. The song features a back-and-forth performance from both rappers and serves as another preview of what’s coming from AZ Chike’s upcoming album, No Rest For The Wicked.
The album is scheduled to arrive September 18, 2026, via Warner Records.
