Olivia Rodrigo is kicking off her new music festival with a huge charitable milestone!
The pop superstar announced that Daisy Chain Fields has raised $10 million for 10 nonprofit organizations supporting women and girls.
Rodrigo shared the news alongside representatives from the festival’s nonprofit partners, saying she was grateful to everyone who helped make the fundraising milestone possible — including fans who bought tickets, sponsors, donors and the artists performing at the event.
The sold-out festival takes place Saturday, August 29, at Great Park in Irvine, California, with an all-women lineup featuring Chappell Roan, Doechii, Mitski, Bikini Kill, Garbage, Santigold and The Breeders, plus special guests including Stevie Nicks, Sarah McLachlan and Karen O.
“Daisy Chain Fields was created to celebrate the power of what can happen when we come together to support one another,” Rodrigo said.
The money will be distributed among organizations working across areas including reproductive rights, maternal health, economic security and gender-based violence.
Rodrigo launched Daisy Chain Fields as a celebration of women in music while also giving back to causes close to her heart. The festival was inspired in part by the iconic Lilith Fair.
And with $10 million already raised, Olivia is proving Daisy Chain Fields is about much more than music.
