The Ghanaian superstar absolutely electrified the crowd at the Mawazine Festival in Rabat, Morocco on Saturday night (June 20), officially becoming the first-ever Ghanaian artist to take the stage at the legendary event.
Mawazine is widely known as one of Africa’s biggest and most prestigious music festivals, and the “BHIM President” made sure his debut was one for the history books. Performing on the iconic Bouregreg stage, Stonebwoy proudly flew the Ghanaian flag high as he showcased his rich musical heritage to thousands of screaming fans.
The reggae and Afro-dancehall icon kicked off his high-energy set with his hit track “Hero,” instantly setting the tone for the rest of the night.
He then treated the massive crowd to a mix of his latest tracks and timeless hits, including fan favorites like “Wilderness” and “Blood Don’t Make Family” from his highly anticipated project TORCHER II. He also threw it back with his evergreen, conscious reggae anthem “Run Go,” which had the entire audience singing along.
With this monumental performance, Stonebwoy continues to break barriers and cement his status as a true global ambassador for Ghanaian music and culture.
