The Brazilian DJ and producer has opened up about an ambitious new project with global superstar Anitta, revealing plans for a collaborative funk album that could see the two heavyweights join forces with their eyes firmly set on the international market.
Speaking about the project, Pedro made it clear that this is no ordinary collaboration. He described it as a major move designed to push Brazilian funk even further around the world.
“It’s going to be an ambitious project aimed at the global domination of funk. I’ve taken advantage of many of the doors Anitta opened, and I think the time has come for us to join forces.”
The statement is already generating plenty of excitement, particularly given the pair’s history of successful collaborations. Pedro and Anitta have previously teamed up on tracks including “No Chão Novinha,” “Dançarina” and “Joga Pra Lua,” while their latest collaboration, “Bota um Funk,” also featured MC GW.
