JENNIE is making an impressive start with Fallen Angel, her new three-track EP released Friday, August 28, via Odd Atelier and Columbia Records. The project has already surpassed 4.5 million unfiltered Spotify streams across its three tracks, while also picking up early chart and video milestones on major platforms.
According to Spotify Counter data, “HEAVEN” emerged as the EP’s biggest performer on its opening day, earning 1,601,452 unfiltered streams. “FALLEN ANGEL” followed closely with 1,507,295 streams, while “Less than a Lover” contributed 1,407,396. Together, the three tracks generated a combined 4,516,143 unfiltered Spotify streams.

The strong streaming numbers have also carried over to the Spotify Global chart. “HEAVEN” opened at No. 150 with approximately 1.3 million chart-eligible streams, while “Less than a Lover” returned to the chart at No. 196 with roughly 1.2 million.
Fallen Angel is also making an immediate impact on digital sales. The EP debuted at No. 1 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart, making JENNIE the first K-pop soloist to debut an EP or album at the top of the chart in 2026. In the United States, the project landed inside the iTunes Top 15 on its release day.
YouTube has provided another strong early indicator of the project’s reach. The “Fallen Angel” music video became the platform’s No. 1 trending music video and crossed 10 million views shortly after its release. The cinematic visual features biblical imagery, bonfires, flowers and stark, Tim Burton-inspired contrasts that complement the song’s darker aesthetic.
The early response extends JENNIE’s growing solo run, which began with Ruby in March 2025. The album cemented her position as a major global solo act, while Fallen Angel explores a notably different musical direction, stripping back the production to put greater emphasis on her vocals and songwriting.
