Addison Rae is giving fans a little reassurance that new music is on the way.
The singer took to social media on Sunday (September 27) to check in with fans following her recent absence from social media. In a message shared on her Instagram Story, Rae revealed that she has been spending her time working on her next album.
“Hi. I miss yall ❤️,” she wrote. “I’ve been working on my album, I promise!”
Rae also gave fans a glimpse into how she’s been spending her downtime, joking that she’s been drinking piña coladas and watching Star Wars while continuing to work on the project.
“But still working on my album, nonetheless,” she added before signing off, “I love you. Xo Addison.”
The update comes just weeks after Rae deactivated her Instagram account, sparking speculation among fans that she could be preparing for a new musical era.
Rae released her self-titled debut album, Addison, in June 2025. The project included songs such as “Diet Pepsi,” “Aquamarine,” “High Fashion,” “Headphones On” and “Fame Is a Gun.”
While Rae has not announced a release date or revealed details about the follow-up album, her latest message confirms that she is actively working on new music.
For now, fans will apparently have to wait — with piña coladas and Star Wars keeping Rae company in the studio.
