Macklemore is taking his support for Palestine to the stage.
The Grammy-winning rapper has announced the “Free Palestine Tour,” a series of benefit concerts across three European cities this October.
The tour will kick off in Dublin on October 26, followed by Paris on October 29 and London on October 30. The concerts will feature Macklemore alongside various artists and friends, with the guest performers set to be revealed at a later date.
The currently announced dates are:
- October 26 — Dublin, Ireland — 3Arena
- October 29 — Paris, France — Accor Arena
- October 30 — London, UK — OVO Arena Wembley
According to organizers, all proceeds from the concerts will benefit organizations supporting Palestinians, including humanitarian, medical, educational and community-focused groups. The listed beneficiaries include Anera, Gaza Soup Kitchen, HEAL Palestine, Medical Aid for Palestinians, Palestine Children’s Relief Fund and UNRWA USA, among others.
Macklemore announced the tour shortly after his removal from Ed Sheeran’s U.S. tour. The rapper had performed pro-Palestinian material during his opening sets, including his song “Hind’s Hall.”
“So we’re going on tour,” Macklemore wrote while announcing the new shows, explaining that he had been reaching out to artists who had used their platforms to stand in solidarity with Palestinians.
More dates, including potential U.S. shows, are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets for the European dates will go on sale through the respective ticketing platforms, with presales beginning September 28–29 depending on the city.
