Ella Langley has officially entered the history books.
The country star’s blockbuster hit “Choosin’ Texas” continues its unstoppable run atop the Billboard Hot 100, scoring a remarkable 20th week at No. 1.
The latest milestone makes “Choosin’ Texas” the longest-running non-holiday song to ever occupy the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 — an extraordinary achievement for Langley and the track.
But the history-making run doesn’t stop there. Billboard said “Choosin’ Texas” has surpasses the 19-week run of “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” by Shaboozey from 2024 and “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus in 2019.
With 20 weeks at No. 1, Langley becomes the first female artist ever to reach the 20-week mark atop the Billboard Hot 100, further cementing her status as one of the biggest chart forces in music right now.
“Choosin’ Texas” has dominated the chart for nearly five months, turning what was already a massive hit into a full-fledged chart phenomenon.
For Langley, the record-breaking run marks another major career milestone — and with the song still sitting comfortably at No. 1, there’s no telling just how much longer its historic reign could continue.
