Taylor Swift has made history once again, becoming the youngest artist ever inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. The global superstar joins an elite group of songwriting legends behind hits such as “She’s No Lady,” “Hey! Baby!,” “Two Piña Coladas,” and “In Color.”

Swift will be inducted alongside Lyle Lovett, Bruce Channel, Shawn Camp, and Lee Thomas Miller, earning her second major songwriting honor in 2026 as she celebrates 20 years in the music industry.

“We’re excited to once again add new names to a legendary list that began more than a half century ago,” said the organization’s leadership.

The five inductees were selected across different categories: Shawn Camp and Lee Thomas Miller in the contemporary songwriter category; Taylor Swift in the contemporary songwriter/artist category; Bruce Channel as veteran songwriter; and Lyle Lovett as veteran songwriter/artist.

The five honorees will join 254 previously inducted members of the prestigious organization during the invitation-only 56th Anniversary Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala later this year.

Meet the 2026 Inductees:

Shawn Camp — The Arkansas native has written hits including “A Beautiful Time” by Willie Nelson, “How Long Gone” by Brooks & Dunn, and “Two Piña Coladas” by Garth Brooks.

Lee Thomas Miller — The Kentucky-born songwriter is known for penning hits such as “In Color” by Jamey Johnson, “The Impossible” by Joe Nichols, and “You’re Gonna Miss This” by Trace Adkins.

Taylor Swift — Born in Pennsylvania and raised in the Nashville area, Swift has built an extraordinary songwriting legacy with songs including “Cruel Summer,” “I Knew You Were Trouble,” and “White Horse.”

Bruce Channel — The Texas native is celebrated for “Hey! Baby!” and songs recorded by other artists, including “Stand Up” by Mel McDaniel and “As Long As I’m Rockin’ With You” by John Conlee.

Lyle Lovett — The Texas-born singer-songwriter is known for his distinctive style and self-penned hits, including “She’s No Lady,” “Cowboy Man,” and “You Can’t Resist It.”
